lessing studio a/w 2011 preview: woolen jacket

Posted in tailoring, wool by katherinemae on March 13, 2011
I am currently working on my final collection for fashion school, from which I’ll be graduating in June. We were asked to create a mini-collection of around 10-15 outfits, though only about 5 are actually sewn by us students and will be showcased in a fashionshow & exhibition in April. My collection is losely based around travel and the idea of being chic yet practically dressed. Free of uggboots and sweatpants. ;)
I asked my lovely friend Afra to model this first jacket and skirt for some preview snapshots. The jacket is made of a very thick woolen knit and features a clean, turned over crew neck and a slightly asymmetrical closure.
